MISSIONARY PRAYER

Father in heaven.  Please hear my plea.

For I have a loved one in service to Thee.

Please give him wisdom to know what to do.

And give him the courage to teach what is true.

Please let help him develop his faith, so he’ll pray

to Thee for the guidance – today - and each day.

Please keep him from harm and so safe in your arms.

That those who at home, will not be alarmed.

Please give him the strength to escape every snare.

That his soul will feel safe from temptations that’s there.

Please give him the patience to learn and to know

of customs and people in places he goes.

Please let him be radiant from love that he shares.

And able to teach and to show that he cares.

Please let him just know that I wait cheerfully.

For that glorious day Thou return him to me.
