One day I was on Facebook

To see what happened there.

What my “friends” were doing.

My friends from everywhere.

There were so many messages.

And many greetings sent.

But one message that stood out

It said “ Hi Bent”

How Are you?

Is It true.

That your sitting there alone

And feeling blue?

I’m looking for a man

and it might just be that you

are the one that likes to be

my real beau?

I did not know who wrote me

But I knew it was a girl.

Do I know you sweetie?

You sound just like a pearl.

Oh, her maiden name was Madsen.

And her hair was really red.

Then I remembered her sweet face

And then I said:

How Are you?

Is It true

That your sitting there alone

and feeling blue?

I’m looking for a wife

and it might just be that you

are the one that likes to be

my real beau?

We started corresponding

About this and a-bout that.

About the good old days.

Some happy and some sad.

We built up loving feelings.

A’little more than “friend” to “friend”

And agreed that they would like

To meet again.

Before the months was over

they were married and it’s true.

We were no more lonely.

We were no more feeling blue.

It sounds just like a fairy tale.

But it is really true.
